- Mimmi
After Sirena’s victory and with her drying it down, she offered to carry it back up to the main grotto; to which I had no argument there as with her showing off her winning trophy. All of us went ahead of her as he held up the rear, when we were all seated in the main part of the grotto, nice and comfy  to when Sirena walked over to where they spotted the boat (when Ondina issued the challenge). She gently placed the boat back on its shelf.
“Sorry about the lightening.” Sirena spoke up as soon as she placed the boat back. “I got a bit carried away.”
‘Why the heck is she apologies?’ I thought.
“We were never taught how to do lightening.” I confessed
“…Actually its quiet simple. “Sirena began explaining. “You started the storm so I just turned it back on you. Rita always said: why use your own powers when you can use your opponeties.”
Sirena smirked, but I could see that her smirking was directed at Ondina…..as to say a: told-you-so moment.
“So do you now agree that I deserve my Moon ring, just as much as you?” Sirena raised an eyebrow.
Ondina didn’t answer straight away, as I’m guessing her defeat was still haunting her….that she was beaten by an ex-outcast.

“Face it Ondina.” I started up. “She beat you fair-and-square.”
“It was pretty funny when you went over.” Evie added in.
Giggles were starting to form.
“You looked like a sea turtle stuck on its back.” I teased mimicking the movement of what it was looking like.
Now the giggles were turning into full laughter’s. Once I finished my mini demo, Ondina sighed.
“Okay, alright…fine, Rita is a good teacher.” She admitted softly.
Sirena put her hand to her ears.
“A what?” she asked Ondina to repeat herself.
“…a very good teacher.” Ondina repeated.
Sirena giggled as she had earned Ondina’s respect as then she threw me an accusing look.
“And I did not look like a beached turtle.” Ondina accused me.
“Then how’s about a beached whale.” I teased even further.
“No!” Ondina exclaimed as she picked up the nearest pillow and threw it at me.

And then we all through our heads back in laughter…..
“Now that describes her accurately.” Sirena agreed.
“Hey…do you want a pillow too?” Ondina challenged.
“How’s about we battle it out?” Evie challenged even further.
I sighed. “Serious? Haven’t we had enough fights for one day?”
Evie looked at me and then back to Ondina and Sirena.
“Na....okay then, how’s about we challenge who can do the best pillow throwing contest.” Evie issued her decree.
I leaned my head back, this day was never gonna end.

- Erik.

After using my same spot from before, after Cam had to drag me in further…to prevent any other land-people from seeing this….
“You guys really need to cut down on your diet.” Cam complained as he finally dropped me down on a nice flat spot.
I looked up at him. “I’m guessing you including Zac in this picture as well?”
“You have no idea…Zac really lays into the whole ‘seafood’ diet. Please teach him some good dieting habits?” I could hear Cam pleading.
“But…I thought you two were history?”
“I don’t really know after this.” Cam confessed rubbing the back of his neck while pacing.
“Since you now know my real side? ….is it too late to say that Zac knew about this 2-3 days before you did?” I raised an eyebrow.
Cam sighed. “Yeah maybe…”

“So how will you tackle this? You have no towel or any other device to dry yourself down with?” Cam challenged.
I raised an eyebrow as i raised my right hand to him, as I was using my left arm to lean on.
“Have you forgotten that merfolk have powers? If a drying device is not around?” I reminded him.
Cam rolled his eyes.
“Right, there always is a loop-hole with you guys.” He reminded himself.
“What do you mean?” I challenged lowering my arm as to set myself up for drying down my tail.
“Well….you seem to always have a solution to almost every single problem.”
“…not all the times.” I whispered. Thinking about how many times my foster family had to move cause of my born-ability.
Cam perked up. “What you say?”
I shook my head.
“Na, nothing…just thinking about to a time?”
“About your family?” Cam quizzed.
I didn’t answer him as this was still personal.
“I’m sorry I prided into your-“ Cam started to apologies.
I then held my hand up to stop him. “I told you, I was just thinking….so it’s no biggy.
Cam sighed as he started to pace up again.

-Cam

“You might want to hurray up….as they’re gonna send a chopper after me [as well].” I remarked still pacing around the right side of Erik.
“A few more seconds and I’ll be dry.” Erik tried to reassure me as it was looking like the final stages of getting his land-legs back.
“My first time in charge is a disaster.” I reminded him… as with knowing of Erik’s ‘other’ side and then disappearing on watch to help Erik.
“They’ll soon forget that.” Erik pipped in.
I looked down on him. “Why?”
Erik looked up at me with a grin. “Cause you’re gonna be a hero.”
I looked up. ‘a hero? Me? Serious, this guy probably has read too many comic.’ I thought.
“H-how could I possible a hero? After leave me team like that?” I protested beginning to pace as I chewed on my thumb nail.
Erik smirk but did not look in my general direction.
“Trust me; I know how to work my tongue as well…..and on the down side, you’ll be owing me this one for saving your skin.”
I sighed. I had a feeling he was gonna say that.
“Deal?” he extended hand as soon as he was encased in water form….meaning his tail was dissipating in land-legs.
I extended out my hand and shook his just as the water form had vanished and his land-legs (plus his clothes he had on before).
“Deal…but don’t make me do anything stupid.” I pleaded retracting my hand.
Erik laughed as he got up on to his feet.
“I promise I won’t.” He smiled. “Come on, we better head back.”

I sighed as I lead the way with the surf ski in hand, as he walked over the rocks. As soon as we reached the beach, I saw Ned ahead as he pointed in our general direction.
“Dad! Dad it’s him, that’s the boy that went missing.” Ned exclaimed trying to get his dad’s attention to us.
I sighed as I was lugging around the surf ski until I placed it near the safety flag. Mick raised the radio to his mouth.
“HQ, boy’s been found; everybody stand down.” He commanded like a boss.
As soon as I put down the surf ski, Mick pipped in the obvious question. “Where did you find him?”
I held my tongue as I was so not sure on how to answer this.
“Well….” I tried to explain.
“It was my fault.” Erik spoke up saving my back. “I was swimming too far out and got caught by a rip; and then that storm hit. Thought I was a gonna (Erik looked at his suppose ‘hero’), but Cam found me, he dragged me to shore around the bluff….and he saved my life.”
‘So that’s what he meant by ‘hero’…make up his own story about it and then expect me to tag along.’ I thought.
I looked to Zac, who wasn’t as impressed with my efforts considering that I too know of Erik’s true form.
“I guess I owe you an apology.” Mick spoke up.
I shrugged it off.
“Any life guard would of done the same.” I rubbed it off.
Zac didn’t even once looked up….as I remember him diving in and saving a little girl, after days 2 of getting his powers as a: half-breed merman.

“Well guys.” Mick looked around to see a crowd gathering. “3 cheers for our hero.”
Everyone around started to applauded my efforts….even though it was all thanks to Erik that he saved me neck (like he promised he would…..so I do defiantly owe him one).
Problem is what favour is he gonna make me do to owe him for this?

- Zac

So my troubles can only get worse as days pass: another merman has entered the scenes, 2 more mermaids wash ashore trying to rid me of my powers and now Cam knowing of Erik’s true form. What luck has come my way?

Well I wouldn’t say that it completely worse off – Mer
How do you mean by that? – Human (walking away from the scene and hiking up the sand dunes)
Well, now you don’t have to hide the facts about Erik from Cam….as I think he was bound to find out anyway.
True, but this was way earlier than expected…or, unless Erik wanted to show Cam his true form?
So you think Erik planned this event on purpose? Like he wanted Cam to know? That’s a pretty hefty accusation to make against him.
Think about it. The encounter he had with Ondina for a minute….when he first saw her; I think he immediately began suspected her of being a mermaid. But then went out of his way to reveal who he was, that doesn’t sound like coincidence to me….I’d say he did it to get on our side for some reason?
Do you think it could have something to do with Mako?
You mean when Ondina claimed to have seen him when she woke up from getting out of the chamber?
Yeah, I’d say there’s more to the chamber than meets the eyes.
You mean like how it made Ondina disappear or me thinking of it as a Merman chamber
Yep, I’d say that Erik might know more than he’s letting on?
So, you think he’s hiding something? Like his true colours like my dad says.
…possibly? Just keep a sharp eye out for him.

As I was thinking this, I could hear another pair of footsteps…+ a voice to go along with it.
“Hey Zac.” Came a voice.
I briefly looked behind me as I could see Cam, not wanting all of the attention of his adoring fan of ‘saving’ Erik’s life.
“You could of told me that Erik was one of you?” Cam had to quizzed the obvious question…jumping the gun right to the point.
I stopped in my tracks as I turned back to acknowledge Cam was there. So I licked my lips a bit trying to counter my next words
“Yeah, I could of.” I stated trying not to make a big fuss over it. “But I didn’t know what you’ll do about it.”
Cam was silent for a second.
“Why do you think I’ll do anything?” Cam challenged.
“Yeah well that’s the thing, Cam.  Don’t know what you do anymore.” I sighed.
Cam just looked at me….as if to say: then why don’t you.

“Hey hero.” I heard Erik call out. “Can I buy a juice for the man who saved my life?”
“You’re on.” Cam accepted as he ever turns down free food. “See you later.”
Then Cam walked off to Erik’s general direction…that doe confirm that Erik wanted Cam an ally in this mystery of the chamber.
Look like they have a bit of a head start on me….but soon enough well catch up.

- Evie

After the girls bickering about my challenge, we then decided all together to let it die down as Sirena wanted to get back to my training, as she restarted up the canoe floating on top of the fish tank.
“Now relax and focus.” Sirena told me directly.
I nodded in a sigh…so how many tries does this make? Oh well since seeing their powers in actions may as well try out this to get a head start, as I guess this is the beginning phase of powers training for mermaids.
So I then turned to the tank and out stretched my hand like Sirena showed me before, of course taking her words to heart of picture being pulled towards me like a puppet string…..
Then like 2-3 secs later it happened somehow the canoe glided like leaves rushing down a river towards my side of the tank. I had to retract my hand.
“D-Did you see that?” I had to question them as I couldn’t believe it myself. “It moved, I did it.”
“I told you.” Sirena exclaimed over joyed of my achievement.
“It was just like you said….(I turned to the canoe as staring it down in victory) I imagined it and it happened.” I beamed with pride.
“Well done.” Ondina who congratulated me. “Try it again.”

Her encouragement was all I needed as i then reset the boat, pushing it all the way to the back of the tank. Then taking a step back and retired my newly founded skill….and just like before, it came to me like a master puppeteer.
I lowered my hand in…before a voice spoke up.
“Looks like you’ve made a lot of progress.”
We all turned to see Rita up on the top step watching down on us like a hawk.
“You could say that.” Sirena agreed.
‘Even though I’ve only learnt 2 skills (so far); one with Zac and the other one here and now.’ I thought

Rita descends the steps to get to our level.
“Sirena has been showing us some things you’ve taught her.” Ondina added on.
“I might of pasted on a tip or two.” Rita brushed off as if it was now big deal.
“She showed us the lightening inside.” Ondina acknowledge.
“She’s always been good at that.”
“Is it difficult to learn?”
Rita shook her head. “Sure you could, if you put your mind to it.”
Ondina nodded, as showing that she wanted to be on the same level as her rival in power, Sirena.
“Would you teach me?” Ondina asked very nicely
“….of course.” Rita nodded in agreement.

“Do you wanna see?” I asked her eager to show off my new trick.
“Yeah.” Rita agreed eagerly rushing over to my side as I reset the boat back like before (at the far side of the tank).
Took a step back as I performed the same trick again….
“I’ve very proud of you Evie, learning a whole new trick in the course of a day.” Rita commented hold on my shoulder.
I looked to Sirena and then back to Rita.
“Well I had very good teacher to thank.” I commented. “And it was all thanks to her.”
I could see Sirena blushing.
“Oh stop….all I did was passed on what my teacher taught me.” Sirena explained trying to brush away the attention.
“Stop being so modest…you’ve made me proud.” Rita spoke up.
With another power trick learnt…this adventure of being a half-breed mermaid can only get better, right?
FINALLY THE END...of episode 6.

now the plot thickens :DPanda Emoji-25 (Fufufufu) [V2]

Great job. BTW I made a new Mako Mermaids character that you could use if you want to.
