Mori emerges from the portal, following the deer in which Jack made.
“You now see the uncle, I not weak…i will start the new age of the SHIFTER’s.” Mori said as then he swayed from the side as with his own strength depleting from fighting his uncle (Mori end’s up leaning against the shifter for a bit and then manages to stand on his own 2 feet, barely).
Mori then looks back towards the Shifter in which Jack made as it then blew into flakes of snow.
“Thank you, my friend.” Mori said looking up as the snow caught into the wind, with his hair flowing in the same direction of the wind.

Just then Jack as he was back in Burgess, lying against Jamie’s house chimney closing his eyes in exhaustion from a hard day’s of work, of using his powers to help in Canada’s winter snow…then his eyes spike opened as snowflakes floated into the palm of his hand.
‘Where did you come from?’ Jack thought as he looked at the dusting of snow in his hand.
Jack then closed his eyes as the snow began to circle around his ears.
“Thank you, my friend.” A voice said in his ears.
“I’ve…I’ve heard that voice, before.” Jack whispered to himself trying hard to concentrate on the voice’s origin.
“I’ve come to right the wrongs.” The voice said again. “I just hope they can forgive an unforgivable act.”
Then Jack’s voice gasped as his eyes spiked opened.
“Mori?” he said to himself. “It, can’t be….I thought Mori was gone for good in the portal?”

Giving it more of a thought, then his eyes brightened when he remembered the snow Shifter he sent through the portal at the same time Mori went through the Portal to fight his Uncle.
“That’s right.” He said looking down at the dusting of snow that was still in his hand. “I did send a snow Shifter through the portal.”
Then with a new light in his heart, Jack sprung to his feet in then flying down and tapped desperately Jamie’s window of the news.

Jamie groaned as he went with the window.
“Jack….whas are you doing here?” Jamie asked in a half-asleep voice.
“Sorry to wake you kiddo (Jamie opened up the window)….but I need you to be an eyewitness to this.” Jack explained as he climbed in Jamie’s room through the window.
“A wisness to whas?” (still half-asleep)
“I am going the get the Guardians to induct a new person in our ranks.” He announced.
Jamie’s eyes finally widen awake.
“Who? Who is it going to be?” Jamie asked repeatly as he then began to bounce on his bed.
“Shh…quietened down, you’re going to wake you mum up. I’ll take you to see him.” (Jack was in his room trying to quieten him down, as then Jamie sat on his bed with his legs crossed)
“What? Now?! And who’s ‘Him’.”
Jack nodded with a grinning cheeky smile.

Jack then scooped up Jamie into his arms and then onto his back.
“Make sure you hold fast and this is going to be a pretty fast ride.” Jack warned.
“Where are we going?” Jamie asked as he lopped his hands around Jack’s shoulders.
“You’ll see in a minute.”
And with that Jack summoned the wind and blew a gusting force winds into Jamie’s room, blowing over piles of paper and knocking over books from his desk.
Within a few seconds Jack was floating inside Jamie’s room and then rocketed out of the window heading towards the sky.
Jamie clung to Jack jumper hoodie, with his eyes squinted closed.
Jack just laughed.
“It’s okay, kiddo….check out the view.” Jack encouraged with a smile looking back at Jamie.
Jamie slowly opened up his eyes slightly, then closed them again (being a bit still afraid of heights)…and then quickly opened them to the view that greeted him with splendour.
The whole view of Burgess with the sun only slightly peaking in the background, only the slight flakes of snow followed in view.
“Whoa, this is….amazing.” Jamie exclaimed.

“Come on we better get moving, we don’t want to get in trouble with you mum.” As he then flew up towards the hills in which Mori and he had their final showdown, that over looked the town of Burgess.
Once there Jamie slides off Jack’s back (Jack had to kneel down to let Jamie off).
“Where are we? On the other side of the world?” Jamie asked looking towards Jack.
Jack just shook his head.
“Nope, were still in Burgess…were just here to meet an old friend.” He explained grabbing a hold of Jamie’s hand.

Jack kept on walking around the top hill fields.
“Mori, where are you?!” Jack yelled.
“Mori? Is that who you wanted to meet?” Jamie quizzed looking up to Jack.
“Yeah.”
Then Jack could hear a creaking from the woods, just off the side of cliff nearest to the road way that leading directly in-and-out of the town.
“Stay behind me.” Jack instructed with his staff in ready.
Jamie could only nod as he clutched Jack’s jumper.
The noise became closer, as then the sound of rustling leaves as then a shadow figure jumped out the forest and then a flash of green misty light or a millisecond and then vanished towards the cliff side high grassy area.
Jamie clung to Jack’s jumper tighter.
“What…was that?” he asked scared out of his wits.
Jack didn’t answer, as with his staff right in front of his being ready for any slight disturbance.
“Mori?” Jack whispered.

“Jack, this is scary.” Jamie commented again looking around for the threat as well as still clinging to Jack’s jumper. “You’re scaring me.”
“It’ll be fine, I’ll protect you.”
Just then a figure jumped out of grassy area and with that Jack raises his staff pointing the tip of his staff towards the threat and then threat pointing his spear towards Jack.
Just then the sun peaked over the horizon, the light shredded the darkness looming over the threats face.
Jack slowly lowered his weapon, when he realized who it is.
“Mori?” Jack asked.
The threat did the same.
“Jack?” The threat said.

Then the threat moved closer to Jack.
“Tell me I’m not dreaming…you’re alive?” Jack exclaimed.
“What do you serious think I couldn’t defeat my uncle?” Mori admitted placing his hands on his hips.
Jack just shrugged his shoulders.
“I don’t know, your uncle seemed pretty strong.” Jack commented.
Mori snorted.
“You think he’s tough, you should have seen the humans I had to deal with when still in my original form.” Mori said with fun attitude.

While Jack and Mori was exchanging pleasantry, Jamie was left still clutching Jack’s jumper…feeling all left out.
Then he finally had enough of being left out.
“Hey! What the heck is going on?!” Jamie shouted at the top if his lungs.

Mori and Jack stopped their conversation in their tracks. Jack knelt down to Jamie.
“Sorry.” Jack laughed. “We were so caught up.”
Mori then knelt down to Jamie’s level.
“Who’s this?”
“Oh sorry, Mori this is Jamie, Jamie Mori.” Jack introduced.
“So you’re Jamie? Jack talks a great deal about the last light child.” Mori said.
Jamie crossed his arms.
“Funny, Jack has never menched you to me at all…what are you?” Jamie demanded.
Mori looked towards Jack, Jack just sighed and nodded.
“Well to put it bluntly, I’m a last Shifter.” Mori spoke up as he changed his appearance to his original form.
His Shifter’s eyes glowed a bit on the morning light.

“Okay, so what did you want me to be an eye witness for.” Jamie suddenly changed topic’s.
‘Oh right.’ Jack thought.
Then Jack held out his hand to Mori (he’s back into his human form).
“Mori, I want you to please become a Guardian with me.” Jack announced.
Mori just looked at Jack.
“But, I can’t...the current Guardian’s would never forgive me of what I committed against them and against you.” Mori exclaimed not looking at Jack in the eye.
Jack slapped Mori on the shoulder.
“Don’t you get it, they already forgiven you…during the time you were in that portal, I reasoned with them on your behalf. Believe it took some convincing, but in the end all is set and done.” Jack explained.
Mori turning back (rubbing is shoulder a bit) to Jack with widen eyes.
“You did that…for me…but-.” Mori stuttered unable to form a sentence.
“There’s no but’s…all is set and done and their ready to accept you as you are into the ranking of a Guardian.” Jack interupted Mori as he placed his hand on Mori’s shoulder (gently this time). “But if we want to do this right, we better get moving…as I would like Jamie to be our human witness to this event.”
Mori laughed as he then picked up his staff.

“I guess I can come along…I’ve always wondered what being a Guardian will be like.” Mori said as he morphed his black mist on his back into giant crow wings.
Mori lead the way into the skies.
“Come on slow poke, you said yourself that we needed to get moving.” Mori teased floating in the skies right near towards the sun’s rays.
Jack just smiled as he took Jamie’s hand.
“Just like last time.” Jamie said remembering of the time when they employed his friends in fighting Pitch.
Jack nodded as Jamie squeezed Jack hand and then took off. Jamie was still wobbling as then jack decided to sit Jamie on his staff, while Jack was floating using the power of the wind to pull Jamie along on the staff; with Mori behind to give support in case Jamie fell.
“Ready, kid?”
All Jamie could do was nod, as he held onto the staff with both his hands

-At the North Pole-
“So is it true? Mori is coming here?” Tooth quizzed all concerned.
“To right it is, but I never would have guessed the old bugger would accept Jack’s partition of making a Shifter to a Guardian rank.” Bunny frowned leaning against the fire place, inspecting on of his boomerangs.
“I know, but still we have to welcome him with open arms. “North protested. “As he did save us from his uncle.”
Bunny was still not convinced.
“Bunny, give Mori a chance…and you may see he’ll surprise you.” North said trying to convince Bunny
“Yeah, give him a chance to kill us….not convince.” Bunny grumbled tightening his grip on his boomerang.
North sighed.
“You’re too uptight….this could all be a part of his plan, he could lower us into a false sense of security and then….Boom….instant betrayal.” Bunny pushed himself off the fire place and then started walking around the room; protesting his idea (placing his boomerang back into his back pouch).
Tooth rolled her eyes.
“If you think Mori is going to betray us, then why do you think Jack is standing up for him?” Tooth blurted out.
Bunny was about to protest, but Tooth hit the nail right on the head. Jack had stood up for Mori to become a Guardian, even the Manny stood up for Mori.
Sandman interupted as he made a picture of Manny + Jack = Guardian (symbol)….with a question mark.
“I know how you feel, I still don’t get it either.” Bunny whispered to Sandman.

Then Tooth could hear a tapping on the largest window at North’s hide out. Tooth fluttered over to see Jack with Jamie in tow. Tooth’s eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. And she instantly opened the window to allow them in.
“Jack, I’m glad to see you doing well.” Tooth began holding both of his shoulders.
Then she noticed Jamie as Jack allowed him to slide off his staff.
“Jamie, this is a surprise….”
‘This is awkward.’ Tooth thought. ‘I didn’t think Jack would bring him here after the argument that North and Jack had.’
Jamie ran up to Tooth (as she lowered herself to Jamie’s level).
“I know, I’m probably not meant to be...but Jack insisted I come along.” Jamie explained shuffling on his toes.
Tooth just smiled and was about to open her mouth…

Just then a huge gust of wind blew into the room, followed by a mist of black wings that landed right in the middle of the room. It was Mori landing with style crouching to soften the landing (like the first time he confronted the Guardians).
Then all were on alert as his wings dissolved into his jacket. Tooth had her helper’s by her side, Sandman with his sand whips in hand and Bunny pulling out his boomerangs.
“State your business.” Bunny demanded.
Mori smirked.
“I was invited.” Is all he said.
Jack then jumped in defence of Mori with Jamie doing the same (even though he had no power of his own).
“I invited him here; remember….i asked Manny to induct him in the rank of Guardian.” Jack explained slowly.
Bunny groaned.
“Yes, I remember, but I still don’t trust him.” Bunny said raising his boomerangs.

Then a warm blinding light entered the room from above the globe, they all looked to see Manny sitting on the globe.
“So I see you’re all together.” He started as he sipping his moon tea sitting on the globe cross-legged.
Jack face palmed.
“Can’t you please take this a bit more serious?” Jack protested lowering his hand.
“But I am, I know that the other Guardians bar from you and North don’t trust Mori in becoming a Guardian.” His tea disappeared and then glided towards ground level.
“No duh we don’t trust him, he almost had you killed.” Bunny protested pointing the sharp end of his boomerang towards Mori who still had his arms crossed.

“Yes, I remember….i also remember that he also selflessly gave Jack back his powers.” Manny explained walking towards Mori.
Bunny lowered his weapon.
“Yeah, I’ve been wondering about it….how the bloody hell did you get your powers back?” Bunny exclaimed.
“It’s sort of a long story.” Jack said rubbing the back of his head.

“Bedside’s the point; we don’t have much time as the moon is setting with the sun taking its place….so, North if you would.” Manny jested towards North.
North took a step forward with the book of Oath in hand. Bunny grabbed a hold of North’s shoulder.
“Are you sure you want to do this? He almost killed us and then nearly killed Manny?” Bunny whispered.
“I can hear that….even though some of that is true, but Mori has resented of his past transgressions. I even remember of you forgiving him before he went into the portal to take on his uncle.” Manny explained floating over to Bunny.
Bunny was taken back, and had a hint of blush in his cheeks.

“Yeah, whatever….i still thinks he’s not Guardian material.” Bunny said crossing his arms not even looking at Manny.
“Funny, isn’t that what you said about Jack? The first time you saw that I was going to rank him Guardian.” Manny teased.
Bunny’s cheeks were going even redder.
“Wait you said that?” Jack spoke up.
Thinking this was going to burst into an all-out battle, Manny intervened between them.
“Gentlemen! If you may North.” Manny said standing between Jack and Bunny.

North then cleared his throat.
“Mori if you’re ready to become a Guardian, then please step in the middle of the centre circle.” North began.
Mori looked towards Jack as he’d finally calmed down, and then just nodded urging him. Mori took a breath of courage and stepped into the middle of the circle (where each of the Guardian’s symbol’s lay etched into the stone floor), nothing really changed.
“And our key witness, Jamie Bennedit also presents himself.” North said again
Jamie without needing anyone telling him what to do took the steps towards the globe and was now standing next to Mori. Mori acknowledged him with a smile and then looked back at North as he had the Guardian Big Book in hand

“Now, do you Mori the last Shifter vow to watch over the children of the world, knowing that they are all that we are and all we will ever be.” North read the Oath from the book.
Mori just nodded. “I will.”
“Now having Jack step forward.”
Jack stepped in line with Mori, the opposite side of Jamie.
“Jack Frost, do you accept this vow as well?” North asked.
Jack just nodded holding his staff in hand.
“Then congratulation Mori and Jack you have both become now and forever more….a Guardian.” North finished holding the book to the side showing the front cover in which had the Guardian symbol.

Mori looked at Jack and then to Jamie as he grinned a smile as then he ran up to Jack and cuddled him.
“You did! You both did it!” he exclaimed.
Mori was just silent as he just stared up to the skies, to where the sun was now in full beam in the sky.
“I know you feel lost, but your kind will look towards you….as of now I will give you the power to summon the spirits of your kind.” Manny spoke up floating beside him.

Mori had tears coming into his eyes as then he concentrated enough to summon both his mum and his young brother; into their human forms.
“We heard and saw….you have made friends.” His mum spoke up.
Mori ran up to her and hugged her.
“I’m proud of you big brother.” Akalex said as he walked up to his brother.
Mori briefly lifted up his brother and then embraced him in his arms
“I’m looking forward in protecting the world with you brother.” Mori said ruffling his brother’s hair and then placing him on the ground.
Akalex then smiled as he ran up to Jack and the other Guardians. Mori watched as his brother ran towards the other Guardians.
Mori then looked towards Jack who was with both Akalex and Jamie with a grinning smile on his face.
‘You brought me from darkness to light…you freed me from my prison….And now I have a family and now a rank as of Guardian. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything else…’ Mori thought as he brought his mum (as they held hands) over to meet the rest of Guardians.
